except that i am not sure what to post for a pic, since i put up some yesterday. well, lets talk about work. i wish i didn't have to do it. k is doing well with her new job, she starts at 9 and stops around 6. typing her little fingers to the nubs, i think. and as for me, i do my thing from 6-11pm. with the snow we had, and all the accidents that were resulting from that (and people who apparently have forgotten how to drive in winter), we are thankful to be able to work from home.
in a couple of short months, i'll be able to set up an appointment with our accountant and get the taxes for 2010 done, at least for the estate. we already have all we need for that....bank records, the sale of 2566. should be pretty straight forward. get a clearance certificate from revenue canada, then the lawyer can do his thing and the estate funds can be done. it is with mixed emotions that i think of this time. in its completion,so too shall be this chapter of my life, and i wonder what else will be closed.
i have been grappling with the ideas of acceptance. saw my great counselor, V, who showed me a few other angles to look at it from. i am getting there, albeit slowly. part of me still wants to build something, but in reality, it is not going to come to pass. so, i will work harder on acceptance of things the way they were, they way they are, and the way they will be, according to my reality. i need to pray more, meditate more, and learn more. and in doing so, acceptance will come, and peace will come. i guess its just going to take more time.
make today GREAT~ poet
Acceptance is a hard thing sometimes. Letting go of dreams - both good and bad - is something we usually fight. But by allowing time to do its thing, peace will come your way.

@les- you know i am all about instant gratification! the little kid in me is still whining about things, wanting for things, and hoping for things. i've spoken with her about these things, and do you know how hard it is to reason with a 10 year old? if it were all just as simple as turning off a light or clsoing the book. i wonder if some sort of ceremony would help? i am big on that sort of thing.
