december is not usually the time to concern ourselves with flooding, but this year Mother Nature had other plans. Thanks to the following people who shared their photos on Facebook:
Anne-Marie Thomas, Jeff Young, Brandi Estey, Ward MacDonald
the road gave way under the truck. the driver was not hurt. it is bad around NB folks. Places where it has never flooded before are being torn apart by the water. we had a very heavy rainstorm, dumping upwards to 130mm rain in under 24 hrs over most of NB. just terrible. ~

Oh that's just scary to look at - how awful!
ReplyDeleteHoly moly! Wait, where is this??
ReplyDeleteall over the province of New Brunswick (eastern Canada)
ReplyDeletei live in Fredericton, and we are expecting our StlJohn river to hit flood stage in town by tomorrow. it is very bad.

Wow! That is some serious flooding! I wasn't even aware this was happening.
ReplyDeleteKMae- we are on higher ground so we are safe. it is just so freakish for this time of year to have this kind of flooding in so many areas that don't normally flood.
ReplyDeleteRG- i aim to educate!! take care
