friday

so how are you liking this template? meh, not enough choice with blogger it seems, i may mess with it more, i get bored easily you see, and have to change things up.

work is meh, too. i was off from the 23rd as i previously wrote. this week monday was denied, and my hours for the rest of the week were supposed to be 5 hr a shift. well, tuesday and wednesday were at 5, but yesterday was 4 and today will be at 4. and all next week too, that is a measly pay come pay day. i have been looking like mad for a new job. the whole work from home thing is great, but there are not many legitamate companies out there. i sent out requests on kijiji job ads even. most of those are coming in as junk though--go to this website, fill this out, we'll send you crap on get rich quick schemes. grrrrrr-- all i want is a job that pays decent, that i can do without risk of illness. that means generally work from home. grrrrr.

i love to drive, as you who follow me know, those who are new here, i love driving, always have. since i had my little pedal car and raced the borden milk truck driver down the street when i was 3. i have held a few delivery gigs, most were not well paying. and in the end, i wound up yet again sick from co workers stinky after shave. (the auto parts warehouse...what a bunch they were).  so i sent out a request for information for the CDN diabetes assoc. they had an ad on for a pick up driver, you know the 5 ton truck picking up your donatables? got an email back from a guy named steve who asked me to send my resume and drivers abstract to him, and would i be able to travel to saint john for an interview? sure why not. i can drive a truck, no air brakes, these ones are like that U-haul tank we drove when we moved into our home here. no problem. i am a whiz at tetris so packing the truck is pretty easy too. so long as i don't have to pick up a couch or something, should be all good. we'll see. generally, the pick ups are green bags of clothes and such, can do that. i need a job, one that pays decent. and one that i can do. running out of options.

my cousin told me once a long long time ago i should join the army. hind sight is 20/20 and i would be nice and retired now, with a decent pension. oh well, the past is gone forever. i really did think that advanis was going to work out, but man, the way they run things, i just don't know. i mean really, organization seems really lacking with them. they  should have enough work, it is a decent sized company. i am frustrated with the whole thing.

well, now is time for lunch and i guess a little nap. didn't sleep as well as i had hoped, and am tired.

make today GREAT you are the only one who can~ poet
