ramblings / as time goes by...

as time goes by, i feel older, wiser, and more tired. my days off are pretty full. thursdays are shared with mom, helping her get the weekly errands done. she is sick with the stupid cold, and we had to stop in at the dr. office for another reason; i asked him if he would see her, it would only take a minute, and he said sure. she has antibiotics now to take twice daily, and cough medicine, too. with her lungs in the shape they are, and her being prone to pneumonia and so on, i wanted her seen, and she was. she will feel better i hope soon.

we are all sick here, too. r has had the S C (stupid cold) for over 2 weeks, sneezing and hacking all over the place. k had 'that feeling' in the back of her throat, and nose, and she is resting right now. i've been barking my fool head off for nearly a week as well. even the cats have colds. tink had it first, then gary, and now that they are feeling better, jess and bud have it now. bud is very very old, (17), this could take him out. but i hope not. he sneezes so hard it nearly knocks him off his feet. poor old fella. as for lightening, pepe, and jake, they have not shown any hints of getting the S C.

played with the posts settings here, and have cleaned out alot of previous stuff. i saved them in draft so they are not gone all together. just wanted to update, really.

i have stax of mail and paper work to go through of mom's for dad's final stuff, bank stuff, pension stuff, and happy happy joy joy.....income tax stuff.
i will wrap that all up in a neat little package and send it off to my brother, who is in charge of all things financial. (that works for me, really).

i guess i will sort through some of that stuff now. yaay.

i still haven't got pix of LT2 (the new to me truk), it has been so blistering cold here that i don't want the camera to freeze just going outside. it actually is warming up now, a balmy -10C as opposed to -35C the last three days. we ought not to complain...could be much worse (huh?).

i like photography. i like it alot. i enjoy looking at pix on other web pages, and i used to take alot of pictures too. i would like to get back into that, if only to have the time. i suppose i could make the time. yes, i should make the time.
