the only thing that stays the same is change

moments ago i was called to let me know that i don't have to go to work until monday. because of the new training schedule and my regular days off pair, which i am on my second day now, i will now be working my regularly scheduled shifts on monday, tuesday, and wednesday. will then have training in B brand (as kelly calls it) thursday, friday, and saturday, then return to my regularly scheduled shift times sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday of the following week. pffffffffffft.

i was all geared up to be working side by side with k, who is coming over to our side tomorrow. we have not worked together per say since our RMH days. (another call centre, true headset hell....telemarketing out bound, calling people and telling them they NEED XX&X long distance). anyway, now she will have to brave the strange new world alone. she will be fine.

now for my hours....check these out, my faithfuls; monday-1015a-7p, tuesday-1115a-9p, wednesday-115p-10p, training is from 12p-845p on thursday, friday and saturday and then sunday i go in for 7am-345p, and so on to my usual hours until the next thursday when it will be a day off again. grossness to the tenth power.

i am not complaining (no really, i am not) i have a job that i like more or less. i am good at what i do, and since i do have a brain, i will learn the new brand and try and unlearn all A brands policies and procedures. (that should be really easy, i've only been doing it over 2 years now). i am glad that the higher ups didn't outsource the whole centre to mexico (they still might, but for now, not). we both depend heavily on that call centre for our bread, butter, and of course, cat food and unscented clumping kitty litter.

i was going to have a nap, but since i don't have to work the next 2 days i suppose i will get lots of rest. (i did get the vacuuming done today, and i ran out of steam when it came to the mop). i will get the dishwasher emptied and refilled and get the laundry started before k gets home from her shift. we're going to have pizza for supper, the frozen kind. it is easy and we like it. we don't eat alot of pizza, but when we do, it is like a treat.
i should get some tidying done too.
