update

i have been a bad blogger. damned facebook. not to worry, no doubt the novelty will wear off eventually.   things have been busy with work. my *special* department has been really swamped with calls because the offices in mexico have been deemed a "failed experiment". you might think that they would leave well enough alone. our centre is tops. we are devoted, caring employees who rarely error. the customers enjoy speaking with us and we take care of them.  yesterday i had several reservations that were made incorrectly, (wrong cities, wrong profiles, oh man) .oh well, i got the ones fixed that i could and sent the others off to our customer service department.  makes our job more difficult when other centres doing the same job don't do it correctly or just don't care. sad really.

our yard is looking really nice, as you can see from the pictures i have put up, and the links to more galleries. i so enjoy planting things and watching them grow. we would have really liked to put in a patio, but it isn't possible this summer. that's ok, not like we really sit out there much anyhow.  the insects are out in full force here, so sitting outside isn't really an option.  unless....we had a little screened in thingy.  it hasn't even got to be a fancy one, just something to keep the black flies and mosquitoes at bay.  

the flowers are growing nicely, i must put up more pictures. as well, i have been thinking alot about what my blogger friend, kerry said. she thought it would be a good idea to take out the camera for a drive, and shoot the sites, so she could see the area. that is a good idea, and i think i will work on that.   in fact, in keeping with the photo theme of this paragraph, i was thinking that i would scan some old photos and make a little screen show of sorts. different ideas, all of which float in my head on a regular basis. 40 hr work weeks and very short weekends do not equal much time for my creativity. i must make the time, i guess.

the cats are fine. gary is his usual *dennis the menace* self, he and tink have great rolls and wrestling matches that easily could make the WWF. the older ones are fine too. i don't mention jake much, because he is just here. he doesn't cause any grief, and is usually out of sight. except in the mornings, he is very needy, demanding attention at every turn.  lightening is very vocal, meowing and cooing almost constantly, and pepe and jess still hate each other. nice. entertaining place to live here with all these felines. 

this weekend we will be spending as much time with mom as possible. the first father's day without dad. that is a separate post unto itself, and i will work on that next. meanwhile, i shall stop for now, as i do have things to do , blog rolling to catch up on, and comments to make. enjoy your day or evening, wherever you are, and nathalie...i will work on the goals meme on the weekend as well. i want it to be well thought out.
