update ramblings

,,,happy New Brunswick Day, fellow down'easte'ners. hope you all drive carefully if you are travelling this weekend. be safe and don't talk on your cell phones or multi task while driving. and please, never drink and drive. ,,,

and now back to our regular scheduled broadcast. as i have written, i am on stress leave from work. i get anxiety just thinking about going back and i have not had a headache since my last day on the job. next saturday i find out when i do my bid for fall shifts. i really don't wanna go back (small voice, please don't make me), but if i cannot find anything else in the time i have, there will be no alternative. except for higher dose of *paxil* perhaps. i am going to have a chat with the head dude of the centre before my return (if that be the case), to discuss one of the main problems i have there (with my supervisor...who is a power hungry, evil young woman). i was speaking with a former co-worker this past saturday and he said that she was the main concern he had for going on his stress leave, and upon his return to work, she gave him a really hard time, so he told her to take the headset and swipe card and put it someplace....if you get my meaning. i do not want any trouble. i want to be left alone to do my job. i do it well, and don't need someone 10 years younger than i am telling me what to do. i mean, it isn't like i can't follow direction, i am a good follower. i just don't like the way she throws around her authority and acts like a mean ole bully.

whilst discussing this with my mom yesterday she said it sounded to her like the supe has let the title go to her head a bit, and why can't the management above her speak to her about being a little less like an ass? gee, i wonder that myself.

we held an unsuccessful yard sale saturday morning. we did sell a few items, but LT2 is loaded back up again with the furniture that didn't sell. i am one sore puppy, lifting all that stuff. oh well, i did put an ad on my facebook profile page for the items as well as a facebook group for selling things, so perhaps that will move the things. meanwhile, yesterday we had a bbq and mom and our second mom , D came. it was the first time that my mom met my mumma, D. it was really cool having them together at last. when i had my last nervous breakdown, i landed at D's home for a month while i tried to get my shit together. and when i left my marriage forever, i moved in with her until k and i got our own apartment. D is our life saver, and angel for always.

seth was here with mom, and while i was out tending to the chicken on the bbq, seth took off for a run across the street to see a dog and his human walking. (note to self...always have seth on his leash). i took off after him, and fell, hard. i am so sore i can hardly lift my coffee cup. bruised hip, turned ankle, you name it, it hurts. (note to self#2---never try to run in CROCS).

the weather has finally cooled some. no humidex reading for the last 2 days. that makes me extremely happy. i hate humidity. makes it really difficiult for me to get my breath. i do have the a/c on right now, because it is 24C and not alot of cross breeze. i like to be cool.

wednesday, we go to a career counselling session, where they teach you how to write bang on cover letters to get the job you really want. i may be a poet, but trying to brag my good skills, without sounding like i am bragging, well, i need help with that. i am also going to look into education and labour through EI to see aobut going back to school. i really want to be a courier driver, and deliver excellent customer service and parcels for a reputable, well established company. but i might also like to go back to school for some sort of upgrading to get a really good career going, until i can retire. i really do not wanna go back to headset hell.

i need to lie down a while and rest my aching parts. so take care, my faithfuls. i am reading you, and i hope you still come around here.dscf0014.jpgdscf0016.jpg

  1. No one should have to have that kind of stress with their job. I really hope you're able to find something else quickly. Life is too short to be that miserable.
