Day 1 done, looking forward to Day 2

,,,yes, friends, it was an awesome day yesterday. i love driving. my new employer, mike, is a great guy to work for. i'm thinking this is going to work out really well. my first day was spent getting used to doing deliveries. mike didn't want to over load me with 30 pick ups/drops on my first day. i think i did maybe 8, including a long run up to nackawic. he thought, after i was back, that i could be done for the day, and take it easy. what a nice guy. the office manager, heather even called me while i was clearing a run just to ask how i was doing. the other drivers are really nice, and very helpful. it is going to work out well, i feel very confident of that.

today, i do a regular run to 4 places, and then find out what my next assignments will be. i must look into a new phone plan otherwise i fear the cell phone bill will eat into my profit margin. 

k is looking for alternate employment now, as well. after she left headset hell, she returned to home support, but that really isn't what she wants to be doing. she may upgrade her office skills and go into something like that. she is tired of the same old jobs. i understand that completely. been there, done that, always wanted to drive. when i delivered for the local company in the summer of 2004, it was alot of fun, just no money in it. with Office Complete, the potential for earning good money is right before my eyes. i can hardly wait for friday mornings now. that is when we receive our cheques.
