a short note to ask my blog world friends to send up some prayers for our family. k's mom is scheduled for a major operation on thursday and the doctors have said that she may not survive. k flew out to yyc last thursday to be with her mom and dad. i had not posted about it, but now i am.
k's mom has rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis, very seriously, and the surgeons are going to perform an operation to remove damaged vertabrae from her neck and replace with bone bank bone, plates and then she will need to wear a halo or neck brace. the operation is slated for thursday and will be an 8 hour ordeal. k's mom may not be strong enough to survive this. keep us in your prayers.

ReplyDeletek's mom got through the operation, and now the recovery process begins.thank you for your positive thoughts and prayers. she isn't out of the woods yet, but with her will, the power of prayers, and excellent doctors, she should make a good recovery.
