should be sleeping

i should be sleeping now, but alas, i awoke coughing. it was very muggy earlier in the evening. muggy + asthma = cough, a lot. so it is 3am and here i sit. i have perved facebook, checked my blogroll, checked emails regarding the ads i have posted on kijiji, and now i am hungry.

also, my eyes feel like they are bleeding right out of my sockets, which is a sure sign i need more sleep. guess i will eat and go back to bed, if only for a few more short hours. tuesday july 1 is a busy day for us. out to mom's to finish literally everything in preparation for moving day on wednesday. monday when we got out there , we found mom very upset. she doesn't really want to move in to our fair city. however, she knows it will be for the best for all of us. it will be easier for k & i to assist her with anything and everything. 30 years she has lived in rural small village, that is a long time. i remember neither she nor i wanted to move there, and it was hard at first. and now, she is sad again, i hate it when she cries.

it is a large undertaking, getting her moved in here. lots of planning and organizing. house payments to come out of this account, bill payments, phone, lifeline, power, cable. i shoulder all of this responsibility, with k's help. not because i have to , but because i want to . after all, she is my mom and she did everything for me, and it is turn - about time now.

not much else to say except i start a new job at the end of july. i am very pleased about earning an income again, as it has been months (16april) since i have earned a pay cheque. it is a job in customer service for a satellite internet provider. there are offices here in our fair city, and another one up river in another town. i think a lot of people who work there were from the other contact centre i worked at, so it will be kinda like going home. i still have to meet with the site manager and negotiate my salary. i will call on thursday and set up a time when i can meet with her.

ok, so i am off to bed now, well, after i eat something. what to have at 3am?
