things are coming together. last wednesday was a big day, for mom and for us. the movers were prompt and polite. everything seemed to go like clockwork.
mom is settling into a new routine. the living room, master suite, and the reading room/study are all set up and looking good. there are still a few (ugh) boxes to sort out and unpack, but it is all good. soon, there will be photos of the new abode!
meanwhile, we rearranged our place a bit and have the computer in its own room now. the living room looks quite empty, but not for long, as there will be new to us furniture added soon. as well, the computer/office room will need organization. k says i am happiest when i am organizing things. perhaps she is correct.
i must head over to where my new job will be, and make an appointment to negotiate my salary. i shall not sell myself short. i have oodles of CS experience in one form or another. i am sure i am worth the high end of their salary range ($28,000 annually). i'll write more about the new job later, right now, however, it is time to get off here and publish this post so i can get busy with the daily routine.

Its good to hear that your mothers move went smoothly. It will take a little getting used to for her but I am sure with you ans K living closer now it will be esier for her and you aswell.
