so not much to report. we have had some pretty cold weather lately. in fact, one day last week our fair city recorded the coldest temperature for the entire country; –36C. too flippin’ cold for me. TEDDY refused to start, so i had to cab it to work. got a very chatty cabby too. she has been a driver for 35 years. so she told me all about it. (i was only on my 2nd coffee, and was only half listenin’)
mom is doing better. she still coughs alot, but that is the extra mucus from the bronchitis and COPD. some days are good, some not so much. the joy of chronic disease. we spend as much time with her as we can. we’re up every evening, and k goes to do housework and things three afternoons a week. it is hard having elderly parents, but i am glad that we are close and are able to do so much for her. after all, WE are all she’s got.
work is going well. i had an evaluation, and did pretty well. my team manager is going to help me to develop and action plan for advancement within the company. i enjoy doing the phone work, but i would rather prepare reports and listen to agents, and mark scores. the behind the scenes stuff. we’ll see what happens.
