update on 2566! It is SOLD!!! As long as the plumbing in the master bath shower is working (which it will be in the new year) by the 29th january/2010, it will be a done deal. i am happy. also a little sad that mom was not here to see it. of course, she is looking from Heaven and witnessed it all.
today is christmas day. we had a nice quiet day, just us 2, until after 4p, when our dear friend, Roz and k's son, r arrived. then k's daughter m and her bf j arrived around 6 ish. kane and murphy, the dogs, had a great evening of wrestling and playing out in the snow.
we eventually had our turkey din. it was a little late as the bird didn't wanna cook fast enough (hell evidently 7 hours in the oven was not long enough). we had hoped to eat by 7p, but it was 9pm by the time we got to. it was all good, and man are we full.
presents were exchanged and everyone was pleased. i am having a little sad time missing my parents. the first christmas without mom. i'll be fine, i always am. just having a moment. that is all for now. hugz~poet
