today, i called about a job that offers virtual agent customer service work. it is by contract, and upon reading more about it, noticed that it can take MONTHS to hear from them. nice. i also have a phone interview at 7pm my time this evening for a Canadian work from home customer service/sales gig. i hate interviews. i usually suck at them. i have excellent CS skills, a pretty decent phone presence (once i am confident in my role), and have more computer power (since i got the new fangled one) than most companies require. so come on , give me a chance to work from home.
my doc told me that i was not to work in the call centre environment (last year), due to allergies and stress. i get that. i have enjoyed (mostly) my time off this past year. but now, with my claim done, it is time, sadly, to pick up the pace on that job search. so here is to more online searching. maybe i will look at companies who require online research. after all, google is my best friend, :)
