WFH...an update!

i really enjoyed my 3 hr shift tonight. i'm thinking that this is a really good company to work for. scheduling my own hours, and doing my job in the comfort of my own home. yessir, i am liking this. i am not stressed at all. i just read verbatim the survey questions, and the people i spoke with tonight had already agreed to this call before i got to them, so warm calling. NOT SALES , NOT telemarketing. NOT reservations, NOT customer service. Just interviewing people about a product of service that they already have.

I think that is a good, relaxing job for me. i have always taken pride in a job well done, regardless of what career it was in. when i worked for ABG, i was the best reservation sales agent i could be, same with xplornet, and even with my delivery jobs, i delivered whatever i had on board in a safe and timely manner. i took pride in my work, and this will be no different.

next time you get a call from some one calling on behalf of someone else and have identified it as NOT A sales call....speak with the person. be kind to the person, and just answer their questions as asked. they will be glad you did, and so will the client.

market research is a very important function in the world. i mean if not for asking consumers what they want , or how they can improve on something, things would never get invented, or tested , or improved.

getting off the soapbox now. make tonight GREAT!! poet.
