shift last night was very good. 35 completed surveys!! can you say i rock? hoping that this evening's shift will be as good. the thing with this survey stuff is that there is no stress. i just read a script and make it sound important to the person i am speaking with, and that i appreciate their time, and i let them know that too! so thank you for taking the time to offer your opinions to me.
cold and sunny today. fall is here. the leaves have been changing for a while now, and i still have not been out to take any pics. by the time i get around to it the trees will all be naked. rest assured i'll get some winter pics. hopefully of kane playing in the snow. he likes snow, at least he did last winter. of course, we should not be discussing *snow* right now, too soon for that. our snowblower is at the shop getting all tuned up and ready, since the almanac said it was going to be a wicked winter this season. ok, enough on that topic, i am getting chilly just thinking about it.
i might get one more mowing in though. the yard has looked very nice and i have not even had to rake once this season. (i hate raking). but i love mowing. it is so great being able to use Dad's old Lawnboy to do the job. it is a 1988 model, and works like a brand new one still. i had it to the same shop that has the snowblower right now, and for $90 they tuned it up, sharpened the blade, and just made it new again. yeah, it does not take much to make me smile, a lawnmower that works well.
i am not making much money with those adsense ads here on my side bar. not even as much a two cents. hmmm, might as well take them off. had joined up with google affiliate network, but upon reading all the back ground on that, it is more work that it will be worth. hmph. how does someone make (decent) money on the internet? i have those amazon associate ads on the side bars too, big fat nothing on them too. what i would like to know is does anyone ever make anything off those ads? if so , kindly let me know, please. speaking of online money making, ToneADay has been acting up again. i did manage to get a pay out of $20 last month though. it seems that they have been having trouble fetching words, and making that website work faster. i hopped over there to do a little 'rating' and it took so long for each phrase to come up, i gave up and logged off. at two cents per phrase, it takes a while to add up at the best of times, when it takes longer than 15 seconds for a phrase to appear, that just drives me to the log out button. oh speaking of earning two cents at a time, i have been a member of Hits4Pay for a few years now. i have made a whopping $10.40. this is the one where they send you an email, and then you click that email, it brings you to the log in page for your Hits4Pay acct, log in and sit there for 1 minute reading the ad. i have only been getting one of those a week, and at 2 cents apiece, you can see why it has take me YEARS to get up to ten bux! so readers, i would like to know what do you click out there in cyberspace to earn a buck or two? share with me your two cents' worth!
