yup, you read it right. march is roaring in. GROSSNESS. we are expected to receive yet again up to 30 cm. our driveway is down to one car width. bless the next door neighbour, R, who has a snowblower, and i expect he will be over tomorrow. we, of course, do not expect him to, but friday evening, we took over a cake in appreciation of the times he has blown us out.
"Teddy" is turning out to be a wonderful little car. even though he only has all season tires on right now. i read online somewhere that it will soon be mandatory to equip cars with winter tires in winter. (insurance companies may revoke coverage if winter tires are not installed). in this corner of the world, snow tires are a MUST, and i am going to save my pennies to get a set of 4 rims and in summer, when winter skins are cheaper, get 4. there are other things i would like to spruce "Teddy" up. new seat covers would be quite nice, along with a chrome shifter knob. i would also like to look into the cost for window tinting. nothing looks nicer than a black car with dark windows. told you it was my affordable-mid-life-crisis-car, and i want it to look sharp!
"Teddy" got a little work out today after nap time. i went on a mission, in a blizzard! in search of the video game that seems to be all the rage in our fair city these days; ROCK BAND. yup, got it for r's XBOX360, and when it comes out for the nintendo wii, we'll just trade it in on that from EB Games. going to be lots of fun. as well, when the wii comes out with the wii fit we are going to get it. k did some research online, and wii fit is an excellent way to get fit!
work is going well. i put in 85.5 hours in this pay period. we were short a couple of drivers for a couple of days so i took it upon myself to start earlier. and one day i was late getting finished. they like it if we don't go over 84 hours, but it was unavoidable. oops.
my bad for not getting pictures up "Teddy" up sooner. the weather has not been very nice here, what with all the storms and then rain and ice. he is dirty and covered with ice and snow. on my facebook link there is a picture of him, the dealer shot.
with rockband i get to play drums. i have always loved the drums, and before i am 45 by golly i will have a set of REAL drums. hopefully Pearl brand. when i get stressed, i go to drummerworld.com and click the link for solos, and with headphones on and volume set high, i sit back and veg. it works really well.
