....and we have a small class, there are 6 of us remotely, and only 2 of us are Canadian. (the remote agents i mean). The rest are from the US. Seems the company has expanded to train US remote agents. Too bad US-based companies would not extend that to us.
Anyway, the orientation was fine. we were in the teleconference for about an hour, broke for an hour to read on our own an e-module, then dialed back in for the rest of the session. next tuesday, we will get into the nitty-gritty of learning the product that we are to assist customers in buying.
i am a little nervous, but that is to be expected, as the first days and weeks of a new job are stressful, and this is two-fold as it is my first time working from home. most of the rest of the new hires have done this before (wfh), so they indeed have an advantage over me.
well, i guess i better get a move on and get some stuff done. have a wonderful day, readers...make it GREAT~ until next time.....poet
Can't wait to hear how your next training goes, keep us posted when you can. ((hugs))
