monday

2 hrs in, that is. the turkey coma passed me by, bugger. it is 2am and i am not sleeping yet. hmph! 

so i was rearranging my bloggy gadgets, and deleted my blogroll, bugger! now everything looks different. maybe better? i have my blogroll added into my favorites, so i will just use that.

i love the little gadgets i have going on here. lets' see, there are blog directories of all kinds, link sites, networked blogs, blogUPP, google friend connect. do i need any more? nah, i am listed in all of those, and i see that some traffic is actually coming from them. cool.....thank you for coming over, do leave a calling card, so i can return the favour, and stalk you , ok?  thanks.

i am hooked on stats counter. it is my favorite counter ever. it tells me all. it tells me how you found me (or if you have me bookmarked), it tells me how many times you have visited, and it also tells me how long you stayed. i have one reader who is on my blog more times a day than i am. i mean, i know i am "all that" , but i have to wonder if that reader has my blog listed as her home page or something? :) anyway. i have a routine that i have gotten pretty comfortable with, i have my list of 'regulars', and have found some great new ones through those linky things and directories. these are now added to my new regulars. you're welcome!   anyway, i stop by all my regulars each day, but generally only once a day, you know, to keep up with your comings and goings. i am really impressed with the many different places you readers are logging in from, i have some as far away as Lithuania, Taiwan, the Netherlands, UK, Scotland, Ireland, as well as many USA and Canadian readers. thank you for coming to my little corner of the interwebs. is it worth it? the ramblings of a mid 40s cat lady? :) so again, leave me a calling card, (aka comment with a link to your blog) and i will be happy to add you to my ever growing list of 'regulars' .

because monday is a holiday here, i have not got to work at 6pm tonight. but back to it tomorrow. new longer shift, 6pm-12am. i am ready for it. and i will also be working saturday coming, from 1p-7p. i wonder what saturdays are like with Advanis? i hope it is ok. i have not had a hard time with the job as yet. just kinda getting into the groove of it, really. the way it is all handled through the computer online is great, and the training was really in depth. i am a creature of habit, and really thrive on scripted jobs. as long as i can just read what is requested, it's all good. now, some folks would take that as 'boring'. not me, i like routine, less stress that way. my last 2 shifts i was ranked third on the project we were doing, out of however many agents were working that project. my stats were, well, as the chat supervisor put it, awesome. i told her it was just newbie luck, and she said she highly doubted it. it actually is newbie luck though, i have never done this kind of contact centre work before, and never from home.

can you tell i like my new job? i know, getting to sound like a broken record. i'm not sorry though. :)   well, gonna try and get some sleep now.....oh after i tell you about the fanfriggintastic supper we had. the family was all here, and we had a feast of mashed, whipped potatoes, peas, stove top (we like it), gravy, and turkey of course. home made cranberry sauce as well as ocean spray canned jellied cranberry sauce. and a fabulous home made apple pie for dessert.  it was sooooooooooooo yummy.  still stuffed. i hope that my Canadian readers had a wonderful thanksgiving sunday. maybe you are waiting to do the Big meal tomorrow (er, um  later today). enjoy and have a great time today with family and friends. gobble gobble!!
